Is it okay to buy coral bead jewellery if it has cracks in some of the beads.
Will these worsen with age and can they be repaired?

Like most things in life - perfect costs more.
The perfect diamond costs more than one with inclusions or a poor color. Perfect Sapphires costs more because their blue colour is better than the others at a lower price.
It is the same with everything - including coral.

You must remember that coral was once a living thing, and as such will have 'wrinkles' and cracks because that's what makes coral - coral.
They can't be repaired and they may chip and flake and crack even more over time, but that's the same as opal or Ivory or even emerald. It depends how you look after your jewellery too.
If you want coral to be perfect - buy plastic beads.
If you want coral to be coral - accept the 'wrinkles' that come from a living thing and simply enjoy them.

Topaz Values Question:
I recently purchased an “Imperial” topaz gem from H. Stern in Brazil for a significant amount of money.
Upon returning to Canada and getting it appraised I found out that it (apparently) is pink/precious topaz.
The appraisal was a bit lower ($500 Canadian less) than what I bought it for, but still in the same ballpark.

Hello, last week I found a 1.34Ct rootbeer colored diamond, cubic in shape with slight valley like fissures.
Stone reflects metallic with rootbeer flashes.
Would a stone such as this have a higher value to a collector, or to have, “someone professional?” evaluate it?
